Housing Starts increase again

The US Census bureau jointly with the US Department of Housing and Urban Development released new residential construction statistics for September 2012.  Click HERE to read the full report. 

Housing starts for privately-owned housing units grew 35% over September 2011 to 872,000, which was the fastest rate since July 2008.

Long-term mortgage rates remain near historic lows and unemployment fell in September as well.  We may finally truly be starting a recovery in the housing market.
