LP® FlameBlock® Fire-Rated OSB Sheathing Receives approval for use in Hawaii

The Department of Planning and Permitting Building Division for the City and County of Honolulu has approved the request to allow the use of LP® FlameBlock® Fire-Rated OSB Sheathing in installations and structures governed by the city/county codes in Honolulu. In addition, to being fire-rated, the panel produced for Hawaii - uses LP's SmartGuard® OSB panels that are Zinc Borate treated for protection against Formosan termites as required due to climate conditions.
