Fire-Rated Panels for Wildfire Zones

In response to ongoing product information requests from California, Barrier has created a new electronic newsletter that shows the use of Blazeguard Fire-Rated Sheathing in exterior wall assemblies in areas of California prone to wildfires. The newsletter -- which can be found here as well as at www.intlbarrier.com, shows:

*A typical one-hour exterior load-bearing wall assembly diagram.
*A photograph showing this particular Blazeguard application in the field.
*A representative blueprint drawing of a wall featuring Blazeguard.
*Sample architectural specifications from an existing project.

A similar format will be used to distribute diagrams, specifications, and product information on Blazeguard use under eaves in wildfire zones, as a fire-retardant barrier for Structural Insulated Panels, in multifamily roof deck applications and in other wall assembly configurations.

Stay tuned for more, and if you would like to receive Barrier product newsletters via email, please send a request to be added to our email database to info@intlbarrier.com.
