BARRIER HITS 36 STATES; SETS SIGHTS ON THE WORLD!!
From the shores of New England to the Southern California coastline, Barrier products are now in use in 36 of the 50 United States. Within the past year, moreover, Barrier has sold into a handful of Canadian provinces, and at the recent International Builders' Show (IBS) in Las Vegas (see blog article HERE ), builders from throughout Asia, Africa, Europe and South America expressed interest in Barrier's patented Pyrotite™ coating technology. An IBS visitor from New Zealand was also keen on Blazeguard® Fire-Rated Sheathing.
Our partnership with Mule-Hide Products with distribution of the FR Deck Panel through ABC Supply has helped spread Barrier products across the country. Recent government and military projects in Texas and Louisiana have found Mule-Hide to be a preferred and specified roofing solution, while Barrier's Blazeguard panels have made significant inroads as Wildland Urban Interface (WUI) - ready products in California and Colorado. This coupled with historically strong markets in Florida and Virginia and newer interest in places as diverse as New York, Alabama and Oregon have brought Barrier products nationwide recognition.
More is to come in 2009; Barrier's exposure at the IBS is only the first in a series of national and perhaps international marketing initiatives the company is undertaking. In Chicago, Barrier CEO Michael Huddy will present at a national fire-rated building materials conference, and Barrier will once again participate in both the national SIPA (Structural Insulated Panel Association) and the MBI (Modular Building Institute) shows this spring.
Via our website, we also continue to receive inquiries from around the country and around the globe. A recent inquiry was for fire-rated construction materials to be shipped to Dubai.
Stay tuned for more national -- and international -- news from Barrier!Fire rated sheathing, fire rated osb, fire rated plywood, multi-family construction, small cap, otcbb, ibtgf, barrier, blazeguard, mycoguard, fire-rated paint, intumescent paint, mold resistant, mildew resistant, fire-retardant plywood, frt, sips, fire rated structurally insulated panels, fire rated wall assemblies, fire rated commercial modular roofing, fire rated modular home construction, green building products, LEED, electrical panel backer board, SIPs; wildfire protection, forest fire protection; non combustible exterior wall sheathing, ignition resistant exterior wall sheathing, ignition resistant eaves; non combustible eaves; ignition resistant soffets; non combustible soffets; ESR-1365; WUI approved/listed; California state fire marshal approved building materials
