New White Paper on Fire Treatment of SIPs for Commercial Roofs

Barrier has produced a new White Paper for the Commercial Construction Industry. The Paper looks at fire treatment methods for Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) in commercial roof decks.

It compares the relative cost and labor considerations between fire treating SIPs in all three of the following ways:
  • Blazeguard Fire Rated Sheathing,
  • gypsum wall board, and
  • field applied intumescent paint
