Barrier has released April 2016 Sales volumes and shipment results:
May 17, 2016 - International Barrier Technology Inc. (“Barrier”) (IBTGF: OTCQB; IBH: TSX-V), a manufacturer of proprietary fire-resistant building materials has released monthly, quarterly and year-to-date revenue and sales volumes results for the period ending April 30, 2016. Overall sales revenue generated for the month of April 2016 was $783,808 vs. $733,761, an increase of 7%. Total sales revenue generated for the fiscal year-to-date period (Jul-Apr) was $7,841,502, a 12% increase from the $7,007,757 generated during the same period ending in 2015. During the year-to-date reporting period, sales revenue into the Residential Roof Deck/Wall Assembly market increased 21% and sales revenue into the Commercial Modular market increased 2%.
Total square footage of shipments to all markets for the month of April 2016, was 2,127,424 sq. ft. in comparison to 1,770,760 sq. ft. in April 2015 (an increase of 20%). Year-to-date square footage of shipments was 20,230,248 sq. ft., an increase of 13% over the 17,910,100 sq. ft. shipped Jul-Apr 2015. Of the total volume of shipments, sales into the Residential Roof Deck/Wall Assembly market grew 20% year-over-year, while shipments into the Commercial Modular market decreased 5%.
